Its internal structural design helps to guide the flow direction of the liquid in the pump. In centrifugal water pumps, the shape of the pump cover and the internal channel design can allow the liquid to enter and leave the impeller smoothly, improving the hydraulic efficiency of the pump. It can form a reasonable flow field for the liquid in the pump cavity, reduce eddy currents and energy losses, and thus improve the overall performance of the pump.
The pump cover can help stabilize the pressure in the pump to a certain extent. In some high-pressure pumps, the close fit between the pump cover and the pump body and its own structural strength can withstand and disperse the high pressure in the pump, preventing local excessive pressure from causing damage to the pump body. At the same time, it can also reduce the impact of pressure fluctuations on the flow of liquid in the pump, making the output pressure of the pump more stable.
